What to do
- Check all lights, the horn, the wipers and the washer fluid.
- Look at the tyres and the brake performance; fix known faults before the visit.
- Clear warning lights on the instrument panel by fixing the cause, not only by resetting.
- Check your deadlines in My Garage so that you book in time.
- A workshop can do a preparation check first; ask for it as a standard job.
